Justin A. Holcomb, PhD
I am a broadly trained anthropological archaeologist who has developed a specialty in geoarchaeology with a focus on human-environment interaction. Using an evolutionary ecology perspective, my current my research examines human migration, movement, and mobility, especially in the context of the peopling of new landscapes.
I received my doctoral degree from Boston University's Department of Anthropology and Program in Archaeology in May 2020, and am the former Predoctoral Research Fellow at the Malcolm H. Wiener Laboratory for Archaeological Science with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (2017-2019). Currently, I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Kansas Geological Survey.
